These cross-border energy flows are helping to break down economic, social and political barriers and contribute to regional stability and growth. In south-east Europe, market growth is creating the right climate for civil engineering projects that will deliver more power generation. South-east Europe focus EFT’s transactions began in Bosnia Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania, followed by expansion into Serbia, Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece, Bulgaria and Romania. Organic growth While south-eastern Europe remains EFT’s key operating area, business activities have recently extended into Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and Italy.
