Serbia, 23 November 2005

EFT and the European Federation of Energy Traders (EFET) organize a conference entitled 'Serbia and the future of energy community in south-east Europe' at the Belgrade Hyatt Regency hotel. Speakers include Serbia's deputy Prime-Minister Professor Miroljub Labus, Peter Styles (EFET), David Kennedy (World Bank), James Nye (EFT) and representatives of numerous other energy traders.

Hungary, 24 & 25 May 2005

EFT was one of the sponsors of the Sixth Annual Conference on Energy Trading in Central and Eastern Europe, held in Budapest on 24 and 25 May. As part of its sponsorship, EFT hosted a morning and afternoon coffee break for all conference guests.

Czech Republic, 7 & 8 March 2005

EFT was pleased to sponsor the cocktail reception at the annual conference on Utilities in Central & Eastern Europe. This year the conference was held on 7 & 8 March in Prague. Representing EFT, Marketing Director David Surtees gave a presentation on "The Impact of Increased Trading Activity: Consequences & Opportunities", in which he discussed expectations for the near future, and strategic considerations for adapting to change.

Greece, 5 & 6 October 2004

EFT was one of the principal sponsors of the 3rd Black Sea Energy Summit, held on 5 & 6 October in Greece. David Surtees, EFT Marketing Director, gave a presentation at the conference. The paper was entitled "Implementing new trading mechanisms in the regional power markets of south-east Europe".

Serbia & Montenegro, 1 & 2 July 2004

As part of its corporate participation in key industry events, EFT once again sponsored the cocktail reception at the Adam Smith Annual SEE Energy Forum, which took place on 1 & 2 July in Belgrade. The reception was well attended by a broad spectrum of industry guests and local politicians.

Slovenia, 28 & 29 April 2004

EFT was in attendance at the "New Dimensions of the Slovenian Energy Market on EU Entry and the Opening of an Organised Biomass Market" which was held at the Hotel Grand Media Ljubljana in Slovenia on 28 and 29 April 2004. Mirko Ivkovic-Ivandekic, Head of Trading at EFT's Belgrade office, gave a presentation at the conference.
